This particular model was sold on ebay by George’s Good Stuff in January 2007 for £52 in the following condition:
This beautiful and hard to find Dinky model is just a few tiny dust-sized edge specks short of mint perfect condition, it’s an absolute beauty, and it comes attached to its equally superb crisp, clean, bright card base, complete with the original clean and unmarked plastic lid engraved with the words ‘Dinky Toys’, all 100 per cent original and complete – very nice indeed!
Also present is the rare instructions sheet for opening the bonnet.
All in all, this is a very very near mint perfect example of one of Dinky’s many gorgeous American car models from the late 1960s and early 1970s, and a wonderful addition to any collection!
